ABOUT JØRGENSEN & UTOFT A/S

Jørgensen & Utoft A/S is a well-established trading company with many years of experience within the plate-processing sector. We deliver heavy-gauge plates, hot-rolled and pickled strip plates, cold-rolled and galvanised plates. We specialise in flat steel products and are currently one of Scandinavia’s leading suppliers. We are known for our personal and direct dialogue with customers, high professional competence, flexible solutions and a high level of service. We take pride in providing both small and large customers with high-quality steel plates.

From our steel service centre, we offer storage room in order to integrate customer supplies in a logistical solution that optimises production and logistics. This provides our customers with great flexibility, resulting in more efficient corporate operations.

We offer a wide variety of service solutions, resulting in first-class service by means of a close and longstanding cooperation with leading steel works and Ib Andresen Industri.

As a steel service centre, we have more than 30 different qualities and more than 400 different coil sizes in stock in order to ensure that we can supply the exact formats and strips required by our customers – on time and at the right price. Our large in-stock selection means that we often can offer day-to-day delivery and sometimes even faster. Further, we provide steel in customised dimensions according to your needs.

CERTIFIED ACC. TO DS/EN 1090-1

We were the first Danish steel wholesaler to be certified acc. to DS/EN 1090-1. This means that we provide supporting steel products with CE labels and we can assure our customers that our CE labelled steel products meet all requirements.

FACTS

Jørgensen & Utoft A/S was founded in 1982 by Henning Jørgensen and Niels Utoft.

After a few years in modest premises, we built our office, administration and modern warehouse facilities at Nordkajen in Vejle. From here, we provide high-quality steel products that comply with international standards.

Today, Jørgensen & Utoft A/S is one of Scandinavia’s leading suppliers of flat steel products, with annual supplies of more than 200,000 tonnes of steel products.
